Assessor meets client on site, check fire safety paperwork and conducts visual inspection, taking notes and photos.

Report

Report is written and submitted by assessor, the report is quality checked and validated.

Which Organisations must do a fire risk assessment?

The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 introduce new duties under the Fire Safety Order for building owners or managers (responsible persons). The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 will come into force on 23 January 2023.

Employers and building owners must carry out a fire safety risk assessment, which they must review and renew according to the legal guidelines:
- Schools; Offices and workplaces; Construction sites; Factories;
- Hospitality venues like restaurants, pubs and hotels; Public entertainment venues like theatres, cinemas and galleries; Gyms and spas;
- Residential buildings that are managed and let out (this doesn’t include ‘private homes’ which are occupied by their owners).
A fire risk assessment is not only essential for a business’s safety, longevity, and reputation but it is also a legal requirement under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.
